Creamy Garlic Chicken

Sometimes, we just need a hug. Sometimes, we just crave a little comfort food.

I’ve got a recipe for that!!

Creamy Garlic Chicken to the rescue! This delicious meal is like a hug on a plate.

Creamy Garlic Chicken

Ingredients

4 chicken breasts, cubed

½ c. all-purpose flour

2-3 Tbsp. olive oil

1 tsp. salt

¼ tsp. black pepper

¼ tsp. poultry seasoning

1 tsp. dried oregano

1 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. onion powder

1 tsp. paprika

3 cloves of garlic, chopped

1 c. white wine

½ c. heavy cream (or whole milk)

3 Tbsp. sour cream

1 Tbsp. Italian parsley, chopped


Method

Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.

Toss chicken in flour. Shake off excess and add it to hot oil.

In small bowl, combine salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika. Stir well and sprinkle evenly over chicken. Stir and cook until browned.

While there is still a little pink left to the chicken, add garlic. Stir and cook about 30 seconds.

Slowly pour in wine. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer about 5 minutes.

Whisk in heavy cream (or milk) and sour cream. Sprinkle with parsley. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes. Stir well and serve hot. (Note: You could also add mushrooms or shrimp to this to make it even MORE amazing).

Uses for this delicious chicken:

>Served over pasta

>Served over rice

>Served with roasted vegetables

>Add the chicken as a pizza topping with chopped fresh spinach or basil, bacon and tomatoes.
