New Beginnings

Updated: Apr 17, 2018

Every spring brings forth new life. New possibilities. There’s new beauty held tightly in the bud stage just waiting to unfurl one petal at a time. But all in God’s timing.

Releasing the old and the familiar to grasp the new can feel awkward and exciting all at once. Something lost. Something renewed, restored. And all the while God is behind the change. He’s behind the miracle of unfurling and beauty in the making.

Welcome to debbiedillon.net where I’m combining a sprinkle of this and a pinch of that in the form of recipes, words to encourage and inspire, gardening pics and tips and free graphics. You’re also invited to follow along in my journey of writing…my book.

There. I said it. Yes, I’m working on MY story sharing how God brought me through THE most difficult time in my life. Yet, through Him, I emerged from the wreckage a much stronger Debbie and closer than ever to my Jesus.

Why do I think I need a little piece of cyberspace to call my own, you ask?

Because…

“Publish his glorious deeds among the nations.

Tell everyone about the amazing things he does." (Psalm 96:3)

and

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put

it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.” (Matthew 5:14,15)

I’ve been blogging for about 11 years. I’ve been writing, publishing and being published because God has wired me with a need to share my authentic self and to encourage others. I cannot stifle my joy for the Lord. I cannot stay quiet about all that God has done in my life and continues to do on a daily basis.

He has given me the desire to speak to the hearts

of those who carry around deep-seeded hurt and anger

and to show them the freedom and joy waiting for them

on the other side of all that.

I’m just so glad you’re here. I look forward to this season of new beginnings and beyond. God hasn’t brought us this far to ONLY bring us this far, my friend. There’s so much joy and beauty still in the bud stage.

Many Blessings,

Debbie
