New Year - New Adventures!

Hello friends! I hope your 2022 is off to a good start.

I’m sitting here enjoying a great cup of coffee and taking a deep breath because I can see right now that this year is certainly going to be a busy one. A lot of new "adventures" and new challenges on the horizon.

First off: my amazing husband is retiring from his job after 30+ years. It will be an adjustment in many ways, but we’re both looking forward to it.

Soon after that, our son is getting married. They make such a beautiful couple, and we are so excited for them as they begin their married lives together.

As if a retirement and the wedding of our first born isn’t enough excitement, I have also opened an Etsy shop! I’ve been sharing my photos on various stock photo sites for years, but I am shifting my focus to offering canvas prints of my still life and floral typography through my shop.

ALSO, I was contacted last year to be a contributor for a brand new food platform! I'll be sharing recipes and food photos, but the site will offer cooking videos, classes and how-tos from over 50 different foodies from all over the world. I'm so looking forward to being a part of this. I'll share the link once it launches.

And, in my spare time (LOL), sharing sets of my still life photos on greeting cards later this year may also be a thing (insert smiles and prayers here).

It's all good stuff, and I am covering it all with prayer and faith that God will supply all my needs (Phil. 4:19), and will strengthen me each day according to His will and purpose. I'm just so thankful for new ways to share this creativity thing; this need to create and share with others. I have so much fun styling props and creating images in my little photo room/studio. With so much going on, I know I'll be heading to my favorite nursery pretty often over the coming months to recharge my batteries. Being in the presence of so much life and beauty just speaks to my soul. :)

I would love to know how you share your creativity with others. Whether you've been blessed with the gift of music, creating hand-crafted items or sharing the gift of hospitality, etc., please share what makes your heart sing in the comments below.

I do hope this new year brings you health, happiness and peace in your heart. I hope you find great fulfillment in creating something that brings joy and inspiration to others. And thank you for letting me share what's happening in my little corner of the world. Have a beautiful day!
